About the Job

Caring Hearts Homecare is looking to hire a full-time Medical Biller, someone who is self-driven, responsible, professional, and a team player.

Qualifications Include:

· Knowledge and use of Waystar preferred.

· Must have knowledge of Home Health claims billing.

· Must have billing experience for Medicare, MassHealth and other Commercial Insurances.

· Must have computer experience - Microsoft Word and Excel, able to create and maintain documents.

· Must be reliable and dependable.

· Must be organized and able to multitask efficiently.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities Include:

· Prepare and submit accurate claims

· Follow up on unpaid or denied claims

· Insurance Verification.

· Maintain and update patient billing records.

· Ensure that all billing practices comply with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

· Post payments to patient accounts, reconcile payments, and ensure discrepancies are addressed promptly.

· Generate and analyze billing reports to monitor the accuracy and timeliness of payments, including aging reports and claim status reports.

· Manages the AR for and assure prompt resolution of AR >90 days

· Manages and assures all denial documentation is collected and sent timely.

· Participates in all collection activities of problem accounts.

· Reviews and analyzes all billing reports on a monthly basis with the Administrator and/or Designees.

· Perform other office duties as required.
